PADI Rescue Diver (RD) Course
Advance your Diving Skills!
Scuba divers describe this course as the most challenging, yet most rewarding course they have ever taken. It is a 3-4 day course. It is required to be EFR certified before you do the Rescue Course. If you are already EFR certified, certification must not be older than 2 years.
The first day you start with theory, this will take approximately one full day. Theory includes the book, 5 videos, knowledge reviews and a final exam.
The second day you do the Confined Water Sessions, we do those sessions in the ocean, in shallow water. On the third day you do the 2 Open Water Dives.
During this course you learn to prevent and manage problems in the water and become more confident as a diver. This course is serious, but it is fun as well! Topics include: self rescue, recognizing and managing stress in other divers, emergency management and equipment, rescuing panicked divers and rescuing unresponsive divers.
